ClearView has assembled a talented team of professionals from the investment, corporate governance, communications, accounting and internal auditing professions whose wealth of experience provides us with guidance and critical insight. Their passion, energy and breadth of expertise in business, particularly in the areas of corporate governance, internal control, compliance and leadership are a constant source of strength.

Stu Douglas

Stu Douglas, FCPA, FCA and a former Trustee in Bankruptcy, practiced investigative and forensic accounting for more than 20 years. For 6 years, he served as Deloitte’s first Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, Chief Privacy Officer and Chief Anti-Money Laundering Officer. Stu continues to provide forensic accounting services in private consulting practice today. He is also Chair of the Audit Committee for two Canadian mutual fund companies. Stu is available to consult with ClearView’s clients at the executive and board level as an independent expert.

Paul D. House

Paul D. House has over 40 years of experience in Canadian retail management and operations, serving most recently as Chairman and CEO of Tim Hortons. Paul has served on multiple Boards of Directors, Boards of Trustees and Advisory Boards, including Wendy’s International, Inc., Tim Horton Children’s Foundation, Pet Valu, Brock University, and Brock University Business School.

Chris Houston

Chris Houston is a seasoned consultant who helps his clients to bring about fundamental change in the organizations they lead. His experience spans 20 years as a consultant, coach, mentor and facilitator of senior leaders across North America, Western Europe and now in Asia. Chris is also involved at the board level in new technology ventures.

Jack Kiervin

Jack Kiervin has over 35 years of experience in the financial industry, in investment management, corporate banking, merchant banking and venture capital. In his years as a corporate banker, Jack held senior roles in commercial and corporate lending. He has chaired a number of public and private company boards and is an active member of the board of several charitable organizations.

Ann MacDiarmid

Ann MacDiarmid, ICD.D, is a marketing and communication professional who has held senior management roles in both the private and public sector in both Canada and the United States. She has focused her career on product management, branding and the governance of complex organizations. Ann provides consultation and communication services to organizations seeking to strengthen their reputation, image and development of human and intellectual capital.

Archie Thomas

Archie R Thomas, CIA, FCPA, FCMA, CFE, C.Dir is a Consulting Internal Auditor in risk, control, governance, quality and training. He has worked in fifteen countries in mining, energy, utilities, retail, education, healthcare and government. Archie is a Director of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) – Canada, on the faculty of The Directors College, an IIA Distinguished Faculty Member, a qualified Internal Audit Quality Assessor and a frequent speaker on Internal Audit. He is a member IIA Global’s Professional Responsibility and Ethics Committee.
